Team Melbourne Weightlifting is an instructional program dedicated to the development of discipline, health, fitness, and athletic abilities through the use of weight training. To accomplish this, the program introduces the sport of Olympic-Style weightlifting and instructs its participants in the multitude of weight training and strength and conditioning exercises. All of this is supervised by certified coaches and is done while emphasizing the importance of proper technique, safety, and hard work. Our team also trains for and participates in local, regional and national competitions in all age and weight classes, both male and female.
